I enjoy playing chess. I am internationally rated played with a FIDE rating of 1528. I hope I can devote time to make that number bigger :)
I'm an avid reader. The book Thinking, Fast and Slow by Daniel Kahneman makes me ponder and is one of my all time favourites. My other favourites include the captivating The Big Bang by Simon Singh, and the wonderfully entertaining autobiography, Surely You're Joking, Mr Feynman. The most recent book I read was Algorithms to Live By by Brian Christian and Tom Griffiths: rather fitting for a recent CS graduate. I relish every opportunity to pen my thoughts down too!
I enjoy teaching, and I want to get better at the exposition and presentation of ideas. I've had several rewarding experiences as a TA during my undergraduate days. I would occasionally perform stand-up comedy too: maybe I just live for the thrill of a well prepared piece of audience engagement, technical or otherwise :)
